12-year-old Mikayla Gounard has now raised more than $50k on GoFundMe for homeless gentleman Sean Currey, who found and returned her grandmother’s lost wallet. The exchange of kindness created a unique partnership between Currey and Mikayla’s family, who are working together to create a “sustainable row of tiny houses for the San Rafael homeless community at large.” Vanessa Topper, Mikayla’s mom, says “this isn’t about charity. It’s about Compassion, the highest form of LOVE.”
