Yazan and Nabil Al-Salkini, two Syrian refugee brothers, are assisting homeless people in Seattle. Yazan, then 19, and Nabil, then 14, said they want to give back to the community that gave them shelter. The siblings lived in Jordan for three years after fleeing Syria’s civil war with their family, then resettled to Seattle.
