A Peterborough, Canada synagogue welcomed Muslims displaced by an arson attack on their mosque. The community’s Muslims were able to hold prayers at the synagogue, where a potluck dinner were arranged for them as well. Larry Gillman, the president of the Beth Israel Synagogue, called on Canadians of all faiths and backgrounds to stick together in the face of violence.
