Abdul Sattar Edhi, since he is 20 years old has devoted his life to collecting abandoned babies, take care of orphanes, of the mentally ill, creted drug rehabilitation centres and hostels for abandoned women. He fed the poor and buried the dead. Today he has set up centres all over Pakistan.
