Newlyweds Fethullah Uzumcuoglu and Esra Polat, a Turkish couple have spent their wedding day feeding 4,000 homeless Syrian refugees in the border city of Kilis, with the help of a local charity. The idea to use the wedding as an opportunity to support refugees was of the broom’s father, Ali Uzumcuoglu, who stated he wanted to share the day with “our Syrian brothers and sisters.”
